The Knicks have tendered qualifying offers to Luke Kornet and Isaiah Hicks, making them restricted free agents.
The Knicks will have the option to match any offer to either player. Both men had success in the G-League and got some NBA experience toward the end of last season. Kornet has an intriguing fantasy stat set but is unlikely to have a big enough role next year to make an impact in leagues. Overall, he averaged 1.4 triples and 0.8 blocks in 16.3 minutes across 20 games for the Knicks. Hicks underwhelmed in 16 games in which he played 13.3 minutes with only 4.4 points and 0.2 blocks. He averaged almost a double-double with 2.0 blocks in the G-League so the Knicks may not want to give up on him yet.
