• Trae Young
    PG, New York Knicks

League sources have confirmed to ESPN on Thursday that the New York Knicks have scheduled a private workout with point guard Trae Young.

The Knicks have the ninth pick in the draft and many have linked Young to the team. Young projects to be selected between the sixth and ninth pick as the Magic, Bulls, Cavaliers and Knicks are all good fits for Young. He is a polarizing prospect that was very inconsistent this year. He has the potential to be another sharpshooting, high pace point guard but there are concerns about size and athleticism. He would fit well with the Knicks' first round pick from 2017, point guard Frank Ntilikina, as the two have very different games that could complement each other. A two point guard system is fine, especially with Ntilikina being a bit bigger and able to guard multiple positions.
