According to Sam Smith of Bulls.com, coach Fred Hoiberg has indicated that Kris Dunn will be coming off the bench when he returns from his dislocated finger.
Dunn could be back as soon as this week, and though it’s long been assumed that he won’t jump right into the starter’s role there’s no telling how long Hoiberg wants to keep that arrangement. Dunn was mostly outplayed by current starter Jerian Grant, and the news did come buried in an article about how impressed people have been with Kay Felder, so it might not be the smoothest of sailing. Dunn should still win the starting job eventually, but it’s a situation to avoid if possible. None of these guards will produce anything more than low-end value.
