• Dunn scored 11 points to go along with three assists, two steals and three turnovers in Tuesday’s win over the Pelicans.

Dunn came off the bench but ended the game with more minutes than starter Jerian Grant. It was encouraging to see him go five-for-eight from the field tonight as his shooting efficiency was a major issue last year, but his real value will come from assists and steals. He is the presumed starter for Bulls going into the season, but could very well be locked in a timeshare with Grant if he fails to seize the opportunity. We know his deficiencies, but he is still young and will have all the opportunity in the world on a depleted Bulls roster. Dunn is the perfect candidate for a last round flier if you believe he can take a step forward.
