Kristaps Porzingis (back) is out for Thursday’s game vs. the Wizards.
Porzingis will miss his 2nd straight game after conflicting reports that he may play tonight. The Knicks are going nowhere so they could be treating their prized unicorn with kid gloves. Look for Maurice Ndour to possibly grab another start in the frontcourt after producing a double-double in Tuesday’s win over the Bulls with Willy Hernangomez grabbing some extra minutes as well.
Update: It seems Porzingis could play on Friday against the Grizzlies but he’ll be iffy down the stretch no matter what.
KP6 had his back stiffen after warmups. Still could play tomorrow in Memphis when I imagine Melo rests.
