Kristaps Porzingis said before Wednesday’s game that he was 100 percent healthy after missing two games with a sprained ankle.
Porzingis played 34 minutes, so he’s probably correct. “I usually recover pretty quickly from things. I had the goal to come back for this game and we made it possible. It’s good to be 22.” He’s right there, too. Porzingis will be a top-20 monster so long as he can stay on the court, and his quick recovery from an injury that looked pretty ugly bodes well for him shaking off bumps and bruises for the rest of the year. It also helps that the Knicks are sticking around the playoff chase.
