James Dolan – executive chairman of the Knicks – said Wednesday that Kristaps Porzingis' recovery from his ACL tear could hold him out 'from December to him being out for the season.'
Dolan said many things about the future of the Knicks including talking down about now ex-coach Jeff Hornacek, Porzingis' return, and how the Knicks "can't just sit on our [butts] while he's away." Dolan seems ignited by the disappointing season the Knicks suffered through but wants to find a coach that will understand how to get through to his players. In terms of Porzingis' return, we will have to see how his summer rehab goes and what the updates are that come out. It could be a headache with the young unicorn next season which will make him a risky fantasy option.
