Kyle Kuzma scored a team-high 23 on Wednesday, shooting 10-of-20 while adding five rebounds, three triples and a steal in 27 minutes off the bench.
While Kuzma was the talk of the town early in the season, he’s cooled off considerably over the last two months or so. This was his highest scoring game since January 23rd and only his second game with 20 points or more since the beginning of January. His rebounds, threes and efficiency have all tapered off since his great start, as has his playing time. Despite all that doom and gloom, Kuzma is still a top-125 asset on the season and should get more minutes as the Lakers formally shut down some of their older players. There’s room for a little bounceback here.
