Fantasy News

  • Taurean Prince
    SF, Brooklyn Nets

Taurean Prince kept the good times rolling on Friday, posting 16 points (6-of-9 FG), five rebounds, five assists, two threes and a steal.

Prince is sitting around the top-125 neighborhood on the full season but is a top-75 guy in the last couple of weeks, so he needs to be in all lineups until he cools off again. Be wary if you care about your field goal percentage, but there's no reason for Prince to be on any waiver wires.

  • Larry Nance Jr.
    PF, Cleveland Cavaliers

Larry Nance Jr. started for Kevin Love (illness) on Friday but failed to impress as he went 2-for-10 from the field for four points, 11 rebounds, two assists and one block.

Don't get too fazed with this poor showing from Nance. The Cavs are already entertaining offers for Kevin Love, so Nance has a positive ROS outlook overall.

  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Brooklyn Nets

Iman Shumpert was able to tally four steals in Friday's win over the Hornets, also picking up four points, three rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes.

Shumpert has been averaging a surprising 18.6 mpg with the Nets but is outside the top-300 in fantasy value. He's a deep-league streaming option if you need steals as he's picked up at least one in eight of his 11 games so far.

  • Kevin Porter Jr.
    SG-SF, Cleveland Cavaliers

Kevin Porter Jr. led the Cavs reserves with 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting on Friday, adding four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 20 minutes of action.

KPJ has been looking better and better lately and has even cracked the top-200 as the 179th best player in 9-cat last week. He's worth a speculative add in 16-team leagues or deeper. Porter Jr. even outperformed Jordan Clarkson tonight, who struggled with 3-of-11 shooting for eight points, two threes and two assists.

  • Marvin Williams
    PF, Charlotte Hornets

Old man Marvin Williams is done for the night after experiencing right knee soreness on Friday.

Williams was off his game and did not do much to help the Hornets' cause, leaving them with just two points, one rebound and one block in 16 minutes of action. More PJ Washington will be on tap to close out the game.

  • Justise Winslow
    SF, Miami Heat

Justise Winslow has been ruled out of Friday's game vs. the Wizards with a lower back strain.

Winslow was just getting back into a groove, so it's unfortunate that he won't take to the court. Expect to see more of Duncan Robinson, who has been quite solid as a starter for the Heat in recent games.

  • Cory Joseph
    PG, Sacramento Kings

Cory Joseph is available to play on Friday despite being initially ruled as questionable with lower back soreness.

CoJo will be able to be streamed for assists or activated in deep-league lineups.

  • Bogdan Bogdanovic
    SG, Sacramento Kings

Bogdan Bogdanovic (right knee contusion) is good to go for Friday's game.

Bogdanovic is in line to deliver mid-round value once again given the Kings' injury woes at the moment.

  • Devonte' Graham
    PG, Charlotte Hornets

Devonte' Graham (shoulder) has returned to Friday's game after heading to the locker room.

Graham is back in and it's a good thing that the shoulder injury is not serious enough to keep him out. He's amazing and even hit a three since coming back into the game.

  • Jeff Teague
    PG, Minnesota Timberwolves

Jeff Teague will be starting on Friday with Andrew Wiggins out for the Wolves.

Teague makes for an interesting DFS punt play given the extra usage in line for him in this game.
