Kyle Kuzma was just 1-of-8 from the field on Friday night, scoring eight points along with four rebounds and five assists in the Lakers’ win over the Clippers.
Kuzma struggled offensively on Friday night, a far cry from what we’ve seen from him in the preseason prior to tonight. He shot 0-for-6 from deep and turned the ball over five times. It would appear he’s firmly behind Larry Nance and Julius Randle in the race to start at power forward for the Lakers. Luke Walton has said the starter will be whoever plays best alongside Lonzo Ball. Ball sat on Friday night. Kuzma has proven to definitely be worth a late-round flier.
