Kyle Lowry fought to lead the Raptors to a comeback win over the Suns on Tuesday with 28 points (8-of-19 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
The short-handed Raptors mainly gave minutes to six players in this one, and they eventually broke through for the win. Lowry has been roughly as valuable with Fred VanVleet (left shoulder soreness) out as when he's been starting next to him lately. Lowry is defying age and hopefully stays strong down the stretch this season. Norman Powell also carried a big load in his start on Tuesday, going for 26 points, two rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
