Kyle Lowry poured in 27 points in Wednesday's 116-104 win over the Cavs, going 10-of-12 from the field to go with eight assists, five 3-pointers, a steal and a block.
Lowry was on fire and got pretty much whatever he wanted tonight, as a number of his buckets came on drives to the cup where he weaved in and out of the Cavs interior defense. He was willing to defer to Kawhi Leonard and others early in the game but slowly took over as the night went on. The score wasn't necessarily indicative of the game either, as the Cavs attempted 19 more free throws than Toronto. For all the talk about Kawhi, Lowry may still be the engine that makes this team go.
