Kyrie Irving had 17 points on 7-of-25 from the floor along with four rebounds, three assists, three steals, three turnovers and one 3-pointer in the Celtics’ 108-100 loss to the Bucks on Wednesday night.
With the loss of Gordon Hayward, more of the offense will be on the shoulders of Kyrie Irving. Wednesday night was a rough example of that as Irving shot 28 percent from the floor. He also followed up his 10 assist performance in Cleveland on Tuesday with just four on Wednesday night. Irving’s role as the primary option on this Celtics team is a definite work in progress.
