Kyrie Irving scored 15 points on 7-of-23 shooting (1-of-9 3PTs, 0-of-0 FTs) with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in Monday’s loss to the Jazz.
Irving stayed for about 45 minutes after the game and did shooting drills and the Cavs are still struggling in terms of being a championship contender. They’re in the midst of a stretch of nine games in 14 days and there will probably be some off-days for the Big 3, and if we had a dart to throw it would be at Friday’s game in Orlando in advance of Saturday’s game in Miami. LeBron James went for 23 & 12 with two treys, J.R. Smith hit just 2-of-12 FGs for five points, and Kevin Love went for 12 and nine in the loss.
