Kyrie Irving shot 0-for-7 from long range during the Celtics’ win over the Lakers on Wednesday night but helped everywhere else, piling up 19 points, six rebounds, five assists, one steal and two turnovers.
Kyrie couldn’t get anything going from deep and Brook Lopez forced Kyrie to change his attack to the basket with strong defense. But Irving’s ability to adapt is excellent and he still had a very solid game despite the shooting trouble. Irving has had top-15 value to this point and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight to Irving’s fantastic play.
