Kyrie Irving scored 19 points on 8-for-23 shooting and dished out seven assists in Sunday’s Game 2 loss against the Warriors.
He hit 2-for-6 from deep, but Irving looked awful throughout the entire game as the team’s primary playmaker. He was much better as a secondary option to LeBron and had some stretches where he was hot, but overall he stalled the Cavs offense with over-dribbling and awful shot selection. The Cavs need a guy who can create for others when LeBron rests and tonight Kyrie only played well with LeBron on the floor which defeats the whole purpose of having him.
