Ingram struggled for a fourth straight exhibition game on Sunday, shooting 1-of-6 while also committing four turnovers. Although the second year forward was the star of the Lakers’ offseason, spending virtually every day at the team’s practice facility, the question still remains his offense and whether he can develop into the elite scorer he is often billed as. Lakers’ president of basketball operations Magic Johnson called Ingram untouchable back in the summer while challenging him to take a major leap and lead the Lakers in scoring but so far the results have been less than impressive. With a week before the start of the season it has been rookie sensation Kyle Kuzma that continues to impress.
