Metta World Peace said that Magic Johnson told him the Lakers do not plan to bring him back next season.
Metta was brought on this year to be more of a player development guy and the Lakers have made it clear he will always a role available with them once he retires. He appeared in 25 games this year and played only 6.4 minute so the 37 year old is not on the fantasy radar no matter where he lands.
Nick Young will have a tough decision as said he wants to play for a contender but may have to leave a $5.6 million player option on the table in order to do so. The best case scenario for fantasy purposes is for him to remain with the Lakers, where he would be a late round target as a three point specialist. He finished in the top-125 in standard leagues due to his 2.8 triples per game this year.
