• LaMarcus Aldridge dropped 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Monday’s 101-97 win over the Raptors.

Aldridge continues to feast for as long as Kawhi Leonard is out and recorded a steal and a block. Keep him rolling out there for now, but we don’t think this early-round production will be a season long thing.

Fantasy News

  • Zhaire Smith - G - Philadelphia Sixers

Zhaire Smith (foot surgery, thoracoscopy) was able to go "about 60 percent" in Wednesday's practice with the Sixers.

The last update on Smith was him heading to the G-League for some non-contact practices, so this is another nice step in his recovery. The Sixers are very thin on the wings and just lost Furkan Korkmaz indefinitely because of a torn meniscus, so while it's highly unlikely that Smith sees meaningful minutes it does look like he'll be able to return by the end of the season. His appeal is limited to the deepest of redraft leagues and dynasty formats.

  • Rodions Kurucs - F - Brooklyn Nets

Rodions Kurucs is not on the injury report and will play in Thursday's game against the Blazers.

Kurucs missed the last game before the break with a left elbow sprain but did manage to log 16 minutes in Friday's Rising Stars Challenge, so he should be considered fully healthy now. The rookie is fine for deep-league use.

  • Treveon Graham - F - Brooklyn Nets

Treveon Graham is not on the injury report for Thursday's game against the Blazers.

Graham missed the final game before the All-Star break for personal reasons. He'll fight for playing time with Allen Crabbe and DeMarre Carroll now that he's back with the team.

  • Dante Exum - G - Utah Jazz

Dante Exum (sprained left ankle) was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice.

Exum got hurt on January 5 and has been out since. He does appear to be on the cusp of a return and may be able to play on Friday, though the Jazz will give an official update tomorrow. With Ricky Rubio back healthy, Exum is only worth looking at in leagues with more than 16 teams.

  • Lonzo Ball - G - Los Angeles Lakers

Lonzo Ball (Grade 3 left ankle sprain) still has not returned to practice.

Ball sustained the injury on January 20 and has exceeded his 3-to-4 week timetable. Rajon Rondo will continue to be a solid option in standard 8-cat formats and fantasy owners shouldn't be worried about his production until Ball gets back on the practice court.

  • Josh Hart - G - Los Angeles Lakers

Josh Hart (left knee tendinitis) is probable for Thursday's game with the Rockets.

Hart received a PRP injection before the All-Star break and was expected to be re-evaluated, but we're guessing it went well. He's only a deep-league option now that the Lakers have Reggie Bullock soaking up minutes at shooting guard.

  • Tyson Chandler - C - Los Angeles Lakers

Tyson Chandler (stiff neck) is questionable for Thursday's matchup with the Rockets.

Chandler might not have a big role against Houston and isn't a fantasy factor either way, so there isn't much to track here. If he can't go it should lead to more minutes for JaVale McGee.

  • Mike Muscala - F/C - Los Angeles Lakers

Mike Muscala (sprained right ankle) is probable for Thursday's game against the Rockets.

Muscala was available for the last game before the break but didn't end up seeing any playing time. He'll provide the Lakers some stretch four minutes off the bench but isn't a great fantasy option, even in deeper leagues. That could change if he gets more playing time going forward but you can wait until that happens to make any type of move.

  • Iman Shumpert - G - Houston Rockets

Iman Shumpert (sore right knee) has been ruled out of the Rockets' next two games.

Shumpert's absence will open up more minutes on the wing for Gerald Green but there isn't much impact here.

  • Nikola Mirotic - F - Milwaukee Bucks

Nikola Mirotic (strained right calf) is planning to play on Thursday against the Celtics.

The Bucks will get to show off their shiny new toy, barring any setbacks. Mirotic is unlikely to approach his season average of 28.9 mpg because he's missed the last 11 games, though he'll fit in nicely with a team that launches 3-pointers whenever they can. Expect middle-round numbers the rest of the way.
