LaMarcus Aldridge had a brutal showing on Tuesday, finishing a blowout loss with eight points and four boards on 4-of-11 shooting.
Aldridge added a steal and two blocks, but that’s a cold comfort for anyone who took their chances with him tonight. He was just as bad defensively tonight as he was in Game 1, only without the scoring total to cover those warts. The Warriors mixed their coverages San Antonio’s new number one option, sometimes letting him post and doubling him on other touches. Aldridge had his right side taken away repeatedly and he resorted to jacking up tough mid range shots with the right side drive no longer an option. He’ll have to be better in Game 3 regardless of whether or not Kawhi Leonard returns.
