LaMarcus Aldridge scored 23 points on 9-of-23 shooting with 13 rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Mavericks.
Aldridge has exceeded all expectations with a top-20 performance to this point in the season. That was bound to fade a bit as the near 50 percent efficiency from the field was due for some regression, but he still appears to be a draft day steal. It is unlikely he retains second-round value with the return of Kawhi Leonard, so owners could try to sell high for a locked in second-round player, but even if that fails he should continue to turn in a nice profit as a mid-to-late round draft value.
