LaMarcus Aldridge was inefficient in Monday’s 96-93 win over the Pistons, scoring 17 points on 5-of-17 shooting with 10 boards, four assists and a steal.
Aldridge is a prime sell-high candidate as he’s been playing at almost a top-15 level, but we don’t think that’s sustainable with the return of Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs work differently when Leonard is on the floor and without him they’ve decided to lean heavily on Aldridge. It’s been working to an extent this year, but there’s no doubt that Coach Pop is going to have the team run through its best player when he returns which means Aldridge’s early round value should start to sink a bit. There still might be enough time for you to nab an early round player for him.
