October 26, 2018, 5:47 pmLance ThomasF, New York Knicks
Lance Thomas (sore left knee) is available to play on Friday vs. the Warriors.
Despite continued soreness in his left knee Thomas keeps on going. Aside from a hot game here and there, he's not a very good option, even for a DFS punt.
October 15, 2019, 10:06 pmMatisse ThybulleSG-SF, Philadelphia Sixers
Matisse Thybulle racked up four more steals and two more blocks in a win over the Pistons on Tuesday.
Thybulle chipped in seven points (2-for-5 FGs, 2-for-2 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and one triple in his 25 minutes. Most fantasy players know what Thybulle can bring. It's the insane steals and blocks numbers that he's brought with him from college. He should be in the rotation this season, but he may not get enough run to be rostered in standard leagues quite yet.
October 15, 2019, 10:00 pmChristian WoodPF, Detroit Pistons
Christian Wood came off the bench on Tuesday and had 19 points (7-for-14 FGs, 5-for-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in 24 minutes against the Sixers.
Wood appears to be fighting for a roster spot, and he's had a pair of games during the preseason that are reminiscent of the incredible stretch he had to end last season. If he finds himself in another rebuilding situation, he could have plenty of value. Otherwise, he's probably just going to put up good games sporadically. His likely competition for that roster spot, Joe Johnson, had just three points in 17 minutes.
October 15, 2019, 9:56 pmTremont WatersPG, Boston Celtics
Tremont Waters shot 10-for-16 from the field for 24 points with two boards, seven assists, two steals and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes of action in a win over the Cavs on Tuesday.
Waters was hot, combining with Carsen Edwards to account for 54 of the Celtics' 118 points on Tuesday night. He is on a two-way contract after being selected 51st in the NBA Draft. Waters should get ample opportunity in the G-League this season.
October 15, 2019, 9:50 pmBruce BrownSG, Detroit Pistons
Bruce Brown came back to earth with zero assists in Tuesday's 106-86 loss to the Sixers, putting up just six points, six rebounds and a block in 25 minutes.
Brown had 15 points on six shots and seven assists in the previous game, so tonight was a bit disappointing for those that hope he can increase the assists this season. His defense should keep him on the court, so keep an eye on how he uses those minutes.
October 15, 2019, 9:46 pmTony SnellSG, Detroit Pistons
Following up a zero-point performance, Tony Snell went for 17 points (6-for-11 FGs, 3-for-3 FTs), two rebounds, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes vs. the Sixers on Tuesday.
Snell may be the Pistons starting small forward, but games like this will be rare. There are many better options to stream for 1.5 threes per game. Luke Kennard had a decent game with 11 points, three boards, three dimes and two treys in 23 minutes.
October 15, 2019, 9:38 pmReggie JacksonPG, Detroit Pistons
Reggie Jackson went 1-for-8 from the floor in 16 minutes in a loss to the Sixers on Tuesday, compiling just four points, one rebound, two assists and a block.
Jackson has long been an inconsistent player, but this one can at least be partially chalked up to preseason resting. He's hanging around until the final rounds in most drafts, and he fits the bill if you're looking for a fourth or fifth guard.
October 15, 2019, 9:33 pmCarsen EdwardsPG, Boston Celtics
Carsen Edwards shot 10-for-16 from the floor for 30 points with three boards, one block and nine triples in 21 minutes against the Cavs on Tuesday.
Wow. Edwards was unconscious from beyond the arc, going 9-for-15 and putting on an absolute show. Eight of his treys came in the third quarter, where Edwards scored 26 of his 30 points alone. He will play behind Kemba Walker and Marcus Smart at point guard this season, but he is worth being on the radar in deep leagues and a name to stash away in case of injuries. Remember the name.
October 15, 2019, 9:24 pmThon MakerC, Detroit Pistons
Thon Maker started and went 0-for-8 from the floor in 26 minutes on Tuesday night in a loss to the Sixers, but he did add 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block, and he hit both of his free throws.
The Pistons frontcourt was extremely thin tonight, so Maker got plenty of run. He will likely be nothing more than a blocks streamer this season when it comes to fantasy.
October 15, 2019, 8:16 pmMatthew DellavedovaPG, Cleveland Cavaliers
Matthew Dellavedova (thumb) suffered a thumb sprain and will not return on Tuesday against the Celtics.
Big man Tacko Fall blocked Delly, sending him to the ground. Delly got up and grabbed his hand before coming out of the game and heading to the locker room. The Cavs ruled him out for the rest of the game.

October 15, 2019, 8:11 pmRobert Williams IIIC-F, Boston Celtics
After taking a blow to the head, Robert Williams will sit out the rest of the game on Tuesday against the Cavs.
Kevin Love gave an elbow to Williams' head, resulting in him coming out and sitting on the bench. The Celtics quickly ruled him out for the rest of the game, citing precautionary reasons. Williams will be re-evaluated on Wednesday in Boston.
