Landry Shamet, the Sixers second first-round pick out of Wichita State, had a short Summer League, he played in one game, got injured and was held out by the Sixers training staff.
Shamet feels good and anyone who's sprained an ankle can tell you it takes a while to fully get right. As long as the training staff is keeping his ankle wrapped during workouts it's unlikely that we will have to get too many more updates about Shamet's health. The Sixers are stacked at the one so Shamet will have a hard time getting meaningful minutes his rookie year.
