Lauri Markkanen had a poor game on Tuesday night with just three points, seven rebounds and a 1-of-7 shooting line in only 20 minutes of playing time.
At least his make was a 3-pointer. It was bound to happen eventually, and Markkanen simply fell prey to the hot hands at power forward in this one. Stick with him, as the Bulls have way too much riding on his development to turn him from starter into third fiddle. There’s no doubt that he’s unlikely to reach his early-season highs again but Markkanen should be able to retain standard league value for the course of the season.
