Lauri Markkanen was one of only a few Bulls to do anything noteworthy in a ghastly 101-69 defeat at the hands of the Thunder, posting 15 points, eight rebounds, a trio of treys and a block in 28 minutes.
Markkanen started hot, knocking down two threes and picking up his rejection in the first quarter. While the scoreboard definitely had something to do with a slow night from there on out, his fantasy owners won’t be complaining. The rookie has entrenched himself on the standard league radar and could hold his starting power forward job from wire to wire on a rebuilding Bulls squad.
