LeBron James triple-doubled on Sunday with 20-12-15 on 8-of-23 shooting with two 3-pointers and a block.
He had six turnovers and the inefficient shooting was an anomaly but the high volume popcorn stats will have owners feeling a bit more forgiving. James has been killing it throughout the year and he’s putting up a solid MVP campaign as the Cavs are charging up in the standings. There’s news of Isaiah Thomas targeting an early January return date and we can’t help but think that James will slow down a bit when Thomas returns. We know he’s still capable of putting up top-3 numbers in fantasy, but he’ll most likely conserve his energy for the playoffs with another All-Star returning to the lineup. He should still retain first-round value and owners should just enjoy the ride with the King.
