LeBron James was incredible in Sunday's Game 7 win over the Celtics, playing all 48 minutes with 35 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers.
LeBron went 12-of-24 from the field and 8-of-11 from the line, shouldering such an immense burden that his eight turnovers barely register as a blip on the radar. The last time he played 48 minutes of a playoff game, he was 21 years old. He looked to be saving his energy for the rebounding battle early in the game as he helped make up for the absence of Kevin Love but turned it up in the fourth quarter and picked the Celtics apart with drives to the cup and tough jumpers. The game was still technically up for grabs when Jayson Tatum jammed one in on The King before bumping him — James gave him a quick side-eye and the Cavs promptly ran away with another Finals appearance thanks to his peerless brilliance. A full 48 in his 100th game of the year in his 15th season. Bow before The King.
