Damian Lillard hit 7-of-18 shots (1-of-7 3PTs, 2-of-2 FTs) in the Blazers' 111-102 Game 2 loss to the Pelicans, finishing with 17 points to go with three rebounds, four assists, one steal and seven turnovers.
Lillard and C.J. McCollum (22 points, 9-of-21 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs, three rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, three treys) got to the foul line just four times and that's because they're running terrible offense. Whether it's Lillard and McCollum letting the defense double-team them because they're calling for offensively challenged players to screen for them, or that's Terry Stotts' master plan, it has been the reason they've been booted from the playoffs for years and somebody might want to look into that.
