Paul George returned to his former stomping grounds on Wednesday night to take on the Pacers and ended up with 12 points, two rebounds, five assists, three steals, four turnovers and two 3-pointers in the Thunder win.
George shot just 3-of-14 from the floor in what was a pretty ugly game as a whole. The bright side is, George’s league-leading steals returned with a vengeance on Wednesday night as he swiped three steals in a game for the first time since November 25. You can chalk this shooting performance up to the nerves of being booed in a place where he used to be the most popular guy around though he has been prone to these types of nights in what’s been a weird Thunder season.
