Lonzo Ball had part of his injured meniscus removed rather than repaired in his July surgery.
It sounds bad but a repair would've shelved him for six months while removing the problematic part of his meniscus only stuck him with a six week timeline. A PRP shot didn't help the knee and Ball ultimately decided to undergo the procedure, and while he's expected to be ready for camp he's still doing non-contact shooting work and lifting weights. Ball should be good for 5-on-5 work in the coming weeks.
