Lonzo Ball (knee contusion) has been ruled out on Tuesday against the Jazz and is unlikely to play Wednesday.
It's very possible Ball sits the rest of the year with nothing to play for and coach Luke Walton said they won't play him until he is all the way healthy. If this is it then is was an impressive rookie year with averages of 10.2 points, 6.9 boards, 7.2 assists, 1.7 steals, 0.8 blocks, 1.7 treys, 2.6 turnovers on 36.0 percent from the field and 45.1 percent from the stripe. The rookie also struggled with injuries and played in just 52 games. Major changes could becoming the Lakers way as they will go after LeBron James and Paul George in free agency, but Ball should still have major value, albeit with similar inefficiency issues.
