Lonzo Ball finished with eight points, four rebounds, five assists and a 3-pointer before leaving the Lakers’ Wednesday night win over the Mavericks with a bruised left knee.
Ball has dealt with plenty of small injuries in his young career but it doesn’t sound like he’ll miss time with this one. After the game, Luke Walton told reporters that while Ball will get an MRI, the Lakers’ doctor thinks Ball will be okay. If he does miss time, it would be Tyler Ennis, Alex Caruso or some combination of the two stepping in for Lonzo. This should be monitored leading up to tip-off of the Lakers’ game with the Bucks on Friday night.
