The Lakers announced that Lonzo Ball underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Thursday and is expected to be ready for training camp.
The surgery had already been announced but now that it's happened Ball is on the road to recovery. He'll be "competing" with Rajon Rondo for the starting point guard spot this season but it'd be a stunner if he didn't win that job. Ball has incredible fantasy potential despite poor shooting numbers, though the early-round hype train should slow a bit given all of the Lakers' additions this offseason. He'll still be worth taking in the middle-rounds, assuming no health setbacks.
