Robert Covington (knee) will not travel for this weekend’s games vs. the Cavs and Raptors.
Covington has been a godsend for fantasy owners this year providing top-25 value after his abysmal first month but this injury hurts as we are in the thick of the fantasy playoffs. The silver lining here is that the Sixers announced his expected absence so fantasy owners have an opportunity to replace him. Covington has likely played his last game as the Sixers are in tank mode so you can safely move on. If you want to look at the Sixers for some help, take your pick from Justin Anderson, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Gerald Henderson and Nik Stauskas but none of them are exciting options. You may also want to check if Kent Bazemore, Monta Ellis or even Terrence Ross are available to you on the wire, maybe you can catch lightning in a bottle.
