Lou Williams was one of the more productive Clippers on Saturday thanks to 18 points and six assists, but he shot just 4-of-16 to get there.
The scoring is nice, but at what cost? The Clippers’ season is circling the drain and while Williams is delivering for fantasy owners as the team’s current primary scorer he may not be long for L.A. as the Clips could start to sell off assets soon. He’s got low-end value wherever he plays thanks to his explosive scoring potential and great free throw numbers and should be held no matter what. His backcourt running mate also struggled tonight, as Austin Rivers finished with just nine points on 4-of-15 shooting. He’s going to get the minutes to stay relevant but shouldn’t be viewed as a particularly thrilling fantasy play.
