Cavs coach Ty Lue confirmed that Dwyane Wade will start at shooting guard this season while J.R. Smith is set to come off the bench.
This move was somewhat expected but we were waiting for confirmation. Wade was always the projected the starter once he signed with the Cavs but he’s a guy that may not be in the lineup every single night. Cleveland have a championship on their minds this season so rest throughout the regular season for guys like Wade will be key. He’s someone worth looking at in the mid-to-late rounds while J.R. Smith can only really be had in deeper leagues.
