Luke Babbitt will start on Sunday against the Clippers.
One reason we made Babbitt a speculative add in our Anthony Davis beneficiary analysis is because Alvin Gentry has been comfortable giving him big minutes in the past week. He saw 38 and 35 minutes on last Friday and Saturday with averages of 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 treys and 1.5 steals. He isn’t shooting a ton of threes like most folks would think, but he’s definitely capable of hitting from deep. Should he prove to mop up minutes and production in the same fashion as his glorious locks, then he’ll probably have a late-round expectation with some garbage time upside after that.
