Luke Kennard started and scored a career-high 23 points in Wednesday's season finale against the Bulls, hitting 8-of-14 shots (including three treys) with five rebounds, five assists and one steal in 31 minutes.
This is what silly season lines are made of and after a slow start, Kennard started to show he's not dead money and eventually finished with averages of 20.0 mpg, 7.6 points, 1.1 treys, 2.4 boards, 1.7 assists, 0.6 steals. His 44.3 percent shooting from the field came on just 6.4 attempts per game, but a lot of times the opposite phenomena occurs so it's possible he maintains a solid shooting stat set (85.5 FT%). He produced top-250 numbers when on the floor.
