Luke Kennard hit three 3-pointers and scored 16 points in the Pistons’ loss to the Wizards on Friday night.
Kennard also chipped in a rebound, two assists and a perfect 5-for-5 from the line. It’s been a little while since we saw one of these from Luke as the new year hasn’t been especially kind to the former Dukie. The Pistons have been able to rely on Kennard a little less in these last eight games as Anthony Tolliver and Reggie Bullock have stepped their shooting up, which appeared to be a bad sign for Kennard believers. Bullock was solid tonight with nine points on three treys and Tolliver scored 11 points with four boards, two assists and a 3-pointer. All things considered, it was a nice night to be a Kennard owner.
