Luke Kornet dropped a double-double performance in his debut for the Knicks with 11 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks.
Wow! Talk about making an entrance. The 22-year-old Vanderbilt product made an impact in his 22 minutes off the bench. Kornet is definitely worth a serious look in deep leagues right now, especially after the Knicks bid goodbye to Willy Hernangomez, who they shipped off to the Hornets at the trade deadline. This was a blowout loss, so garbage time was a factor here, so a wait-and-see approach is what the doctor is prescribing for now. If Kornet is able to carve out some serious time in the Knicks’ rotation, he might be able to be a solid source of rebounds, threes and blocks for a lot of desperate fantasy teams out there.
