Lakers coach Luke Walton said in an interview that the rotation will be shorter than last year and players will play more minutes in games.
This is great news for the starters as Walton seems committed to playing his best players as much as possible. The Lakers have been “tanking” for the last couple years but not having their pick next year allows for them to fully focus on winning games. They’ve yet to play yet, but the season-long outlooks of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, KCP, Brook Lopez and Julius Randle are trending up. Off the bench, expect to see a lot of Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance Jr., Kyle Kuzma and Tyler Ennis.
