The Nuggets have acquired Kentucky forward Jarred Vanderbilt, who was picked 41st overall by the Magic.

The Nuggets gave Orlando pick No. 43 as part of the deal. Vanderbilt played only 14 games for the Wildcats in his only college season but averaged 7.9 rebounds, 0.4 steals and 0.8 blocks in just 17.9 mpg. He has pretty much nothing to offer on offense once he steps out of the paint and is available in the second round thanks to a batch of three left foot injuries, but teams will take a chance on a solid defensive combo forward who plays with good energy. Orlando will receive a future second-rounder as well.
