    Team, Los Angeles Lakers

Magic Johnson said that if the Lakers aren't moving in a positive direction after another two summers, he'll step down from his front office position with the team.

"It's going to be a two summer thing for the Lakers," he said. "This summer and next summer. That’s it. If I can’t deliver I’m going to step down myself. [Jeanie Buss] won’t have to fire me, I’ll step away from it because I can’t do this job." With multiple big names on the free agent market this summer, there's a lot of pressure on the Lakers' front office to deliver. LeBron James and Paul George are both expected to be options, and Kawhi Leonard has expressed his desire to play in Los Angeles despite being under contract for another season.
