December 8, 2018, 12:06 amMalcolm Brogdon - G - Milwaukee Bucks
Malcolm Brogdon continued his strong play on Friday with 15 points on 5-of-12 shooting with seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and a 3-pointer.
Brogdon shouldn't be impacted too much by the arrival of George Hill but if anyone were to take a hit it would be him. He's been extremely hot lately and we don't think he can keep up this torrid pace, but he's a must-own player with a top-100 floor.
December 14, 2018, 1:35 amJosh Jackson - F - Phoenix Suns
Josh Jackson scored 14 points on 5-of-18 shooting with three 3-pointers, eight rebounds, three assists and a steal on Thursday.
Jackson came off the bench and played 32 minutes, and was a big factor in the Suns' win tonight. He still has shooting deficiencies, but if Trevor Ariza gets traded and if Jackson averages 30 minutes a night you can take a look at Jackson for those counting stats.
December 14, 2018, 1:35 amTrevor Ariza - F - Phoenix Suns
Trevor Ariza returned to action on Thursday and scored 13 points on 4-of-7 shooting with three 3-pointers, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals.
Ariza's name has been swirling around trade rumors, but he suited up tonight and delivered a nice line in a win. He's still a guy worth holding onto, especially if he gets traded to a contending team that could use his talents.
December 14, 2018, 1:35 amDennis Smith Jr. - G - Dallas Mavericks
Dennis Smith scored four points on 2-of-6 shooting with eight rebounds, an assist and two steals on Thursday.
Smith returned to action on Thursday, but not much has changed as he still struggles to shoot the ball well from the floor and there's a serious lack of peripheral stats which prevent him from being a strong hold. Luka Doncic has taken over as the primary ball handler for the Mavs and the team has looked much better with Smith off the ball. He's still adjusting, but it might be an extended amount of time before he can get it going.
December 14, 2018, 1:34 amLuka Doncic - G/F - Dallas Mavericks
Luka Doncic scored 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting with a 3-pointer, four rebounds, five assists and two steals on Thursday
Doncic has been great lately and even with a low-scoring affair he was able to round out his line with some peripheral numbers. He's the clear cut rookie of the year so far even though he lost the matchup tonight.
December 14, 2018, 1:25 amTJ Warren - F - Phoenix Suns
TJ Warren led the Suns to a 95-83 win over the Mavs with 30 points on 11-of-17 shooting to go with three 3-pointers, three rebounds and three assists.
Warren started the game off hot and didn't let up on the gas. On the season he's averaging 18.0 points, 1.7 triples, 0.8 steals and 0.7 blocks on .521 shooting. He's wildly efficient and his shot selection and shooting ability are why we think it's sustainable.
December 14, 2018, 1:23 amDeandre Ayton - C - Phoenix Suns
Deandre Ayton struggled on Thursday, shooting 3-for-13 en route to seven points with five rebounds, an assist, two steals and a block.
Ayton hasn't been able to get going offensively and looks a bit slow out there on both ends. He was noted with an illness earlier in the week so it might be affecting his play and even though we think Richaun Holmes has been outplaying Ayton, there's no question that Ayton will bounce back and start delivering mid-round lines soon.
December 14, 2018, 1:22 amRichaun Holmes - F/C - Phoenix Suns
Richaun Holmes turned in another nice line on Thursday with nine points on 4-of-6 shooting to go with six rebounds, an assist, two steals and a block.
Whenever Holmes is on the floor good things happen and it's criminal that he's only getting 20.7 minutes a night over the past week. During that stretch he's averaging 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.3 blocks on .704 shooting. He's playing at an extremely efficient rate that's sure to go down, but we're hoping his strong play will warrant more playing time which would be well deserved.
December 14, 2018, 1:17 amDeAndre Jordan - C - Dallas Mavericks
DeAndre Jordan double-doubled on Thursday with 12 points and 15 rebounds to go with an assist.
The blocks are way down which is a bit troublesome and those numbers have been regressing for quite some time now as well. Jordan also went 4-for-7 at the line tonight but he's still shooting .760 on the year and .706 in December.
December 14, 2018, 1:13 amWesley Matthews - G/F - Dallas Mavericks
Wesley Matthews scored 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting with a 3-pointer and three rebounds against the Suns on Thursday.
Matthews is still outside of the top-100 on the year, but his 2.4 triples per game make him a valuable streamer and he's got the ability to grab the occasional steal. His shooting isn't efficient but the volume is there.
December 14, 2018, 1:10 amHarrison Barnes - F - Dallas Mavericks
Harrison Barnes scored 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting with a 3-pointer, four rebounds and an assist on Thursday.
Barnes went 1-for-8 from deep which really hurt his shooting line and the zero defensive stats is a usual Barnes line.
