• Marc Gasol
    C, Memphis Grizzlies

Marc Gasol was held to just nine points in Friday’s 95-78 loss but still came through for fantasy owners by collecting 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, one 3-pointer and four blocks.

Gasol only took seven shots on the night in his 32 minutes, but fantasy owners probably appreciate the restraint since the big man is at a career-worst .416 from the field this season. It’s really hurt his value but Gasol is still a top-45 asset this season thanks to his fine all-around game. He’s going to start sitting on back-to-backs and might get some extra rest days sprinkled in but beyond that owners should feel comfortable about keeping Gasol active. It’d be wise to get ahead of the game and make some contingency plans when an unfavorable schedule looms, however.
