Marc Gasol took the lead as the primary playmaker in the Raptors' 132-96 win over the Hornets on Monday, finishing with five points, eight rebounds and team-high nine assists in 29 minutes.
Gasol, as expected, has been relied on for his playmaking abilities in Kyle Lowry's absence, now averaging 5.3 per contest in the four games sense Lowry went down. Unfortunately there is still little else to be exited about with his fantasy game, and it's really hard to believe that he was playing at a second-round pace this time last year when he was the lead man on the Grizzlies. Fellow big man Chris Boucher also had a nice ball game in this one (11 points and 11 rebounds in 18 minutes) but he is also difficult to trust on most nights with the majority of the minutes still going to Gasol.
