Marc Gasol tallied 15 points, 10 rebounds, one block, one steal, three turnovers and one 3-pointer in the Grizzlies’ loss to the Wizards on Wednesday night.
Gasol had his first double-double since December 1 and his first game with both a steal and a block since December 2. But, unfortunately, it was also just the second time that Gasol came away without an assist and his shooting continues to be an issue. In his last 14 games, Gasol has eclipsed 50 percent from the floor just once. Perhaps when Mike Conley returns, Gasol will feel more comfortable and less like he needs to create on his own. But with no timetable for Conley’s return right now, more rough shooting performances are to be expected.
