Marco Belinelli popped up like The Undertaker on Wednesday, scoring 20 points on 5-of-9 shooting with three deep balls in just 21 minutes.
Strangely enough, the typically passive Belinelli collected seven points from the charity stripe. The reserve guard was Charlotte’s second leading scorer on the night and we don’t expect him to keep that up for any length of time. This outburst actually came in 2.5 fewer minutes than his five-game average, just to underscore the flukiness of the performance. He’s nothing more than a deep league three point specialist.
