Marcus Morris went 3-for-14 in Saturday's win over the Sixers, finishing with nine points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and a triple in 35 minutes off the bench.
Morris' most impactful play was his final assist, which came on a beautifully crafted ATO play that left Al Horford all alone with a smaller defender right under the bucket. Morris lofted a nice pass and that's all she wrote. He's prone to poor shooting efforts but the Celtics don't have many other players with his scoring upside so the role will remain unchanged even with this off outing. Marcus Smart also finished with nine points, adding two steals and a block on top of a strong defensive effort before fouling out in 31 minutes.
